(1) Sharing

We do not share your personal information with companies, organisations or individuals outside ANTHARAS TECH except:

1. With your express consent;
2. Where required by law or a competent government authority;
3. To investigate, prevent or respond to fraud, security incidents or technical issues, or to conduct or assist with legal proceedings;
4. With ANTHARAS TECH affiliates where necessary to improve our technology and services, subject to the purposes stated in this policy; or
5. With authorised partners where necessary to provide services and improve the customer experience. Partners may not use shared information for unrelated purposes.

We apply encryption or other appropriate security controls when sharing data and require recipients to process personal information according to our instructions, this policy and applicable security obligations.

(2) Transfer

We do not transfer personal information to another company, organisation or individual except with your express consent or as part of a merger, acquisition or insolvency process. In the latter case, the new holder must remain bound by this policy or obtain your consent again.

(3) Public disclosure

We publicly disclose personal information only with your express consent or where required by law, legal proceedings, litigation or a competent government authority.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, use, alteration, damage or loss. These measures may include encryption technologies such as TLS and SSL, anonymisation and internal information-security controls.

If a personal-information security incident occurs, we will activate our response procedures, take steps to contain the incident, notify affected users through appropriate notices and report the handling of the incident to regulators where required.

Subject to applicable laws, regulations and recognised practices, you may exercise the following rights in relation to your personal information:

(1) Access

You may access your personal information before closing your account or the discontinuation of our services, subject to legal exceptions. Account information may be accessed through the relevant profile page. For other reasonable requests, email nancy@pdidesign.com.my.

(2) Correction

You may correct inaccurate registration information through the relevant profile-editing page. For other correction requests, email nancy@pdidesign.com.my.

(3) Deletion

You may request deletion where:

1. Our processing violates applicable laws or regulations;
2. We collected or used information without required consent;
3. Our processing breaches an agreement with you;
4. You no longer use our products or services, or you close your account; or
5. We no longer provide the relevant product or service.

If we approve a deletion request, we will notify entities that received the information from us unless the law provides otherwise or they have separate authorisation. Deleted information may remain in backups until those backups are refreshed. Where appropriate, we may anonymise information instead of deleting it or retain limited information where legally permitted.

(4) Changing the scope of consent

You may block cookies to prevent us from retaining website preferences. See Section 2 for details.

(5) Closing an account

If you have registered an account, you may close it through the relevant page. We will then stop providing the corresponding service and delete personal information as requested, unless retention is legally required.

(6) Automated decision-making

Some functions may rely on automated systems or algorithms. If a decision significantly affects your lawful rights and interests, you may request an explanation and an appropriate remedy.

(7) Responding to requests

For security, we may ask for a written request or proof of identity before processing a request. We aim to respond within fifteen working days after verification. Reasonable requests are generally free of charge, but we may charge a proportionate fee for repeated or excessive requests and may reject requests that are manifestly unfounded, technically disproportionate, harmful to others or impracticable.

We may be unable to respond where a request directly concerns national or defence security; public security, public health or major public interests; criminal investigation, prosecution, trial or enforcement; abuse of rights; serious harm to another party’s lawful interests; or trade secrets.

Personal information we collect is generally stored and used in mainland China. Where a cross-border transfer is necessary, we will carry it out only for the purposes described in this policy, follow applicable legal procedures and implement appropriate safeguards.

The relevant website functions and services are intended for adults. Children under 14 must not create an account or use the relevant functions or services. A parent or guardian who permits a child to use a service is deemed to consent to this policy on the child’s behalf, subject to applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a material change occurs, we will explain it through a website announcement, notice or another appropriate channel and will obtain renewed consent where legally required.
